Daphne Agten and Jordy Arthur to host Limburg Pride 2026

Actress Daphne Agten and fashion designer Jordy Arthur will host the programme at Limburg Pride on 12 July 2026 in Hasselt, linking together the various acts appearing on stage. They succeed Luc Appermont and Wannes Lacroix, who fronted last year’s first edition. Alongside the announcement of the new hosts, the official campaign poster was also unveiled.

A deliberate and balanced duo

Daphne Agten is best known for her appearance on the television quiz show ‘De Slimste Mens‘, as well as for her leading role in the film ‘Holy Rosita‘. She is also regularly involved in projects centred on body positivity. Jordy Arthur is a Belgian fashion designer and content creator who uses fashion as a tool for connection and communication.

According to the organisers, the choice of this duo was deliberate. Although both presenters are white, they each reflect diversity in their own way. The combination of male and female perspectives, LGBTQIA+ representation and allyship, together with their natural chemistry, is expected to create a strong and accessible dynamic on stage.

Pride theme focuses on connection and chosen family

Both presenters responded with great enthusiasm, saying they are proud to be part of Limburg Pride 2026. Their commitment and energy align closely with the warm and inclusive atmosphere that defines the event.

Following the successful first edition last summer, which attracted more than 17,000 visitors, organisers expect between 20,000 and 25,000 attendees this year.

The theme is ‘One Family, Many Colours‘, with a stronger focus on intergenerational connection. Within the queer community, it is still common for LGBTQIA+ individuals to be rejected by their families after coming out. Many then look within the community to build a new family, to share their lives and support one another.

Chairman Bert Brone said that Limburg Pride aims to bring people together and make them feel they are not alone. ‘One Family, Many Colours “is not just a slogan, but a reality the organisation wants to strengthen. With Daphne and Jordy, they have two remarkable personalities who can convey that warmth and sense of connection perfectly.

Students design inclusive campaign poster

The official campaign poster was also presented on Thursday. It is the result of a collaboration with students from PXL-MAD School of Arts, who created a striking visual concept through their creativity and vision.

The design features a fluid, organic composition in which different figures come together. The characters were hand-painted and cut out by the students, giving the poster a unique and authentic appearance, while also reflecting the recognisable colour palette of Limburg Pride.

The figures are coloured in the tones of the rainbow flag, creating a powerful and familiar symbolism. What makes the poster particularly distinctive is its strong emphasis on inclusion.

People with disabilities are visibly and fully represented, including a wheelchair user and a person with an amputation. The result is a warm and powerful visual narrative in which everyone can see themselves reflected.
