Antwerp’s annual Q-Week will return from 14 to 20 September 2026, bringing a week-long programme of films, workshops, performances, social activities, discussions and community events for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.
Organised around Het Roze Huis at Draakplaats, the programme features activities across the city, with several events taking place at cultural and community venues.
From choir rehearsal to documentary night
The week opens on Monday 14 September with an open choir rehearsal organised by Active Company, also known as Pink Noise. The rehearsal runs from 20:00 to 20:45 under the bridge at Draakplaats 1. Visitors can watch, while those who feel like it can also join in.
Later that evening, BelGeo organises a Queer Documentary Night with LGBTQIA+ stories from Georgia, at the Red Star Line Museum. The programme includes several short documentaries, a drag performance and Georgian cuisine. The starting time is yet to be announced.
On Tuesday 15 September, Antwerp Queer Theatre presents the workshop ‘Who does what and where(why)?‘ from 19:00 to 21:30 at the Peperfabriek at Breughelstraat. The improvisation workshop invites participants and the audience to step outside the usual boundaries.
Discussions, knitting, and heritage
Wednesday brings Achillean Space, a discussion group for cis, trans and non-binary men with diverse sexual orientations. It starts at 19:00 at Het Roze Huis.
On Thursday 17 September, the programme includes a knitting club at a special location, with the time and venue still to be announced.
The same day, visitors can discover the heritage centre of the Antwerp police zone from 17:00 to 20:00 at Politieplein 1 in Berchem. The event offers an opportunity to learn more about the police zone’s heritage and talk to LGBTQIA+ community managers about the community and the approach to hate crimes.
Film, yoga and a party
Friday 18 September combines film and yoga. The G!F Film Night starts at 20:00 at Filmhuis Klappei, with a screening of ‘Crossing Istanbul‘.
Active Company will also organise a yoga try-out from 19:00 to 20:30 in the attic of Het Roze Huis.
The social programme continues on Saturday 19 September with a party at Café Den Draak, starting at 21:00.
Q-Week concludes on Sunday 20 September with a murder mystery game organised by Wij Dames. The activity starts at 13:00 and lasts approximately two to three hours, beginning and ending at Het Roze Huis.

Registration has now opened for the Q-Week activities where advance registration is required. Organisers are encouraging people to sign up early, as places may be limited.
