ANTWERP PRIDE 2026 | Midsummer Pride at Draakplaats on Thursday 6 August

2026 marks the nineteenth (19th) edition of Antwerp Pride. From Wednesday 5 to Sunday 9 August, Antwerp in Belgium will once again be taken over by rainbow vibes. Prides are a mix of celebration – parties – and activism and advocacy. For the 2026 edition, the organising committee focuses on fearing less and being fearless.

One of Antwerp Pride’s longest-running community events will return on Thursday 6 August, as Midsummer Pride celebrates its 15th edition with a free open-air festival at Draakplaats in Zurenborg.

Organised by Café Den Draak, the event has grown from a local Pride gathering into one of the established fixtures of Antwerp Pride. Around 3,000 people are expected to attend this year’s edition, which runs from 18:00 until midnight.

Two stages and thousands of visitors

Midsummer Pride will once again transform Draakplaats into an outdoor dance floor, with two stages featuring queer DJs and collectives. For the first time, the festival’s second stage will be organised in collaboration with LSBN GRLS, adding an expanded programme of music and performances.

The line-up will be announced at a later date.

Free celebration in the heart of Antwerp

Organisers describe Midsummer Pride as a celebration centred on music, community and inclusion, inviting visitors to gather with friends and chosen family in a welcoming atmosphere. The festival is open to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and aims to provide a safe and inclusive space during Antwerp Pride.

Admission to Midsummer Pride is free. The festival takes place at Draakplaats in Antwerp on Thursday 6 August from 18:00 until 23:59.
